WHY JC LIVES EXISTS
We love Jesus.
We want to love people well.
Our faith is why we do this. Sharing food, listening to people, and offering paid cleanup work are some of the ways we put it into practice.

WHO WE ARE
Getting to know
our neighbors.
We are a Christian nonprofit based in Houston, serving people experiencing homelessness or other difficult circumstances.
We share meals and encouragement, and we make time to talk. Through cleanup projects, we also offer a way for people to earn money while helping the neighborhood.
We hope to keep building a community where people look out for each other, treat one another with respect, and have a chance to contribute.

Faith should lead us
to do something.
James 2:17 reminds us that faith calls for action. We want to live that out in how we treat people. No one has to share our beliefs or join in prayer to receive help.
HOW WE GOT HERE
A new chapter
for JC Lives.
We were sharing food and spending time with people before JC Lives became an official nonprofit.
Our first project as a nonprofit was paid trash pickup. We want to keep serving meals and find more ways for people to get involved and earn money through useful work.
We will share more of our story here as we go.
